Cities as Platforms for Data Economy, 23rd Greek ICT Forum conference

Cities possess and manage already large amounts of data, while generating even more by applying smart solutions. Municipalities may exploit secondarily these data, often called “new gold”, by adopting Data Driven Business Models. Dr. Konstantinos Ap. Eleftherianos presented on April 15th, 2021, during the 23rd Greek ICT Forum conference, our partner’s Uni Systems proposal for an Urban Platform that adopts Fiware open standard for Context Data Management. By using such a platform, cities and businesses are able to exploit further their data, by sharing them through an Open Data Marketplace.
